PlayCity Fines Blogger for Online Casino Promotion

The regulator PlayCity fined blogger Mykola Zalipukha ₴4.8 million for illegal online casino advertising.

Details of the Violation

In August 2025, an online casino promotion was found on the page zalip.uha, which has an audience of 273,000 followers. The content was immediately forwarded to Meta to block the profile.

According to PlayCity, the blogger published the material in violation of legal requirements, which became the basis for the fine.

Amount and Deadlines

The fine totals ₴4.8 million. Mykola Zalipukha has three months to pay it voluntarily or appeal the decision.

If he fails to do so, the case will be transferred to the enforcement service for compulsory collection.

Regulator’s Response

PlayCity emphasizes that it will continue to act against illegal gambling advertising on social media. According to the regulator, the rules apply equally to all online platforms.
