New Tax Blow to the Betting Industry in Russia: What Will Change in 2026

⚡🇷🇺 On November 28, the Russian president signed a law raising taxes for bookmakers starting January 1, 2026 — a 60-fold increase. The new rules introduce a 7% tax on GGR and a 25% tax on net profit. Betting operators will also be required to withhold personal income tax (PIT) from every payout, regardless of the amount.
