MyStake Suffers Player Data Breach

The online casino MyStake experienced a data breach affecting 540 players.

Publication of Player Account Data

In May 2025, hackers released a PDF file publicly containing email addresses and passwords linked to 540 player accounts of the online casino MyStake (Santeda International B.V.), report, citing information from Curaçao Chronicle as well as the organizations Deal Me Out and GAMRS.

Verification by Independent Researchers

During an audit, independent researchers were able to log into almost all of the accounts listed in the leaked file. This confirmed that the published login credentials were still valid.

What Data Became Accessible

After accessing the accounts, the researchers obtained players’ personal data, including names, home addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, and transaction history.

Response From MyStake

According to the reports, the operator did not notify players about the data breach. At the same time, the accounts whose data was exposed remain active.

Actions by Media and Organizations

The outlet Curaçao Chronicle sent official inquiries to the CGA regulator, the data protection office, and the Ministry of Finance of Curaçao to request clarification on the situation.

Recommendations for Players

The organizations Deal Me Out and GAMRS advised MyStake players to change their passwords to protect their accounts.
