MyStake brands change licence in Curaçao

In Curaçao, the brands MyStake, Velobet, Donbet and Goldenbet have moved to operating under a licence held by GTW B.V. following investigations published in December by The Guardian and GAMRS. The licence itself expired in December 2025, report NEXT.io.

Change of licensing company

Previous licence

Previously, the listed brands operated under a licence held by Santeda International B.V., registered in Curaçao.

New GTW B.V. licence

According to the Curaçao register, GTW B.V. was granted a B2C licence in June, but its validity expired in December 2025.

As NEXT.io clarifies, under Curaçao law an operator is allowed to continue operating until the licence is formally renewed, using the existing operational structure.

Background to the investigations

GAMRS and The Guardian reports

The licence change followed investigations published by GAMRS and The Guardian in December, which drew attention to the activities of the brand network and its structure.

The reports stated that the websites MyStake, Velobet, Donbet and Goldenbet were partly aimed at a UK audience and were not regulated in the United Kingdom.

Operating under Curaçao law

NEXT.io notes that even with an expired licence, a company may legally continue operating until renewal, provided the requirements of Curaçao law are met.
