KSA Orders Hash Lucky to Cease Operations

In the Netherlands, the regulator KSA ordered the crypto casino Hash Lucky (legal entity Buscarar SRL, Costa Rica) to stop operating without a license under the threat of a weekly fine of €420,000, capped at €840,000.
KSA Regulator’s Decision
The board of Kansspelautoriteit determined that Buscarar SRL, through the website hashlucky.io, offered gambling services without obtaining the license required under the Dutch Gambling Act.
Violation of the Gambling Act
According to the regulator, Hash Lucky’s operations violated Article 1, paragraph 1, subparagraph a of the Gambling Act, as gambling services were offered without the legally required authorization.
Order to Cease Operations
The board of Kansspelautoriteit instructed Buscarar SRL to stop and refrain from resuming unlicensed gambling activities, with penalty measures applied for non-compliance.
Penalty Structure
If the company continues to operate without a license, it faces a weekly fine of €420,000 with a total maximum of €840,000.
Access Restriction for Users
At the time of publication, Hash Lucky had blocked access to its website for users in the Netherlands.
