A Bug in ATG Slots Allowed Swedish Players to Withdraw Thousands of Euros
Due to a glitch affecting the Blazing Cash slot by Blueprint Gaming and several other games, players were able to withdraw money despite having no funds in their accounts.
What Happened at ATG Online Casino
Last week, a scandal broke out in Sweden surrounding the ATG (AB Trav och Galopp) online casino. Users reported a bug in the slots that allowed them to win and withdraw real money without having any funds in their balance.
The issue affected several games from Blueprint Gaming, including Blazing Cash. Due to the error, the system failed to monitor player balances, effectively allowing unlimited free spins with real payouts.
How Much Players Managed to Withdraw
The amounts players managed to withdraw varied. Some received up to €1,829 per day. One user said their friends withdrew between 10,000 and 250,000 Swedish kronor — roughly up to €23,000. One of them had even already booked a trip abroad.
Amount in SEK | Amount in EUR (approx.) | Comment |
---|---|---|
20,000 | €1,829 | Maximum daily amount |
10,000 – 250,000 | €915 – €23,000 | User’s friends’ winnings |
What ATG Says
ATG has temporarily shut down all Blueprint Gaming slots during the investigation. However, a company spokesperson denied any losses and stated the following:
“That is not true. But we need to double-check everything, which is why we’ve temporarily closed Blueprint slot machines and launched an investigation. We don’t see that any money has disappeared.” — Camilla Hasselström, ATG
Meanwhile, while the company was trying to sort things out, users had already managed to withdraw money via Swish — a popular payment method in Sweden. Some accounts were blocked, but it was too late: the funds had already been sent.
ATG Not Responding to Media Inquiries
The outlet BigWinBoard, which first published information about the bug, reached out to ATG for comment but has not yet received a response.
Users also shared their experiences on forums, confirming that they were able to withdraw money without funding their accounts.
What This Means for Players and Operators
- Players exploited a technical bug to withdraw large amounts.
- Operator ATG denies losing any funds but is conducting an investigation.
- It is still unknown how many players received payouts.
This case raises important questions about online casino security and balance control.
