PlayCity imposes fine on FavBet exceeding ₴400k

In Ukraine, the regulator PlayCity, following an unscheduled inspection, imposed an additional fine of over ₴400,000 (~$9.2k) on operator FavBet for failing to comply with a previously issued order.

As a result of the unscheduled inspection, a violation of regulatory requirements by LLC “Bookmaking Company FAVBET” was identified.

Nature of the violation

The operator failed to comply with a previously issued order from the state regulator.

Grounds for sanctions

The order had been issued following a scheduled inspection conducted in January 2026.

Previous directive

The regulator had previously required the company to eliminate the identified violations in line with licensing requirements.

Amount of the additional fine

For failing to comply with the directive, an additional fine of more than ₴400,000 was imposed on the operator.

PlayCity continues to monitor compliance with its decisions and adherence to licensing conditions among market participants.
