On January 14, the payments platform Paysafe published its study “All the Ways Players Pay: World Cup 2026,” highlighting fans’ interest in online sports betting ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will take place from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

The report was published by the payments platform Paysafe. The survey was conducted by B2B research company Sapio Research in November 2025.

The study surveyed 3,850 respondents from the United States (six states), Mexico, Canada (Ontario), Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, France, Spain, and Bulgaria.
