Pakistani Blogger Ducky Bhai Released on Bail and Speaks About His Case

In Pakistan, blogger Saadur Rehman (Ducky Bhai, 9.62 million YouTube subscribers) was released on bail of $3,600 after spending three months in custody for promoting “1xBet,” “Bet365,” “B9 Game,” and “Binomo.” He then published a public apology video, which has already reached 12.5 million views.
Charges and Arrest of the Blogger
Ducky Bhai was arrested in August at Lahore Airport while traveling to an event he had been invited to attend. He was detained by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), which accused him of promoting online gambling services and betting applications.
In a one-hour video, he explained that interrogations were lengthy and the conditions in custody were harsh. Rehman added that he is fully cooperating with investigators and is ready to accept the court’s decision.
Allegations of Pressure
According to the blogger, he was subjected to verbal and physical abuse during his detention. Rehman claims that NCCIA officer Sarfraz Chaudhry tried to pressure him about his earnings and “slapped him several times during questioning.”
He also said that NCCIA officers blocked his Binance operations and seized approximately $326,000, converting the assets into US dollars.
Bail and Further Actions
Rehman was granted bail by the Lahore High Court on November 25, but he was not released immediately. After leaving custody, he recorded an apology video, emphasizing that he was not trying to justify himself but wanted to acknowledge his mistakes.
He stated that he is ready to comply with all court requirements and repeated that he will cooperate fully with the investigation. Rehman added in the video: “Let the court handle this matter. I will accept whatever decision is made.”
Investigation Into NCCIA Officers
Following a complaint from Rehman’s wife, six NCCIA employees were detained by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on charges of abuse of power and bribery. A total of nine individuals are named in the case.
Sarfraz Chaudhry, whom Rehman identified as the source of pressure, had previously been removed from his position after several controversies related to actions against gambling services.
Ducky Bhai’s Presence Online
Saadur Rehman is one of Pakistan’s most prominent online creators. He has over 750 videos and more than 8.38 million subscribers. His influence and large audience have amplified public attention to the case.
Earlier this year, he was also cited by the Motorway Police for performing dangerous driving stunts, which again brought attention to his activities.
