Luxury Cars of Businessman Set on Fire in Limassol, Cyprus

In Cyprus, four cars belonging to a businessman who was close to Stavros Demosthenous, murdered in October, were set on fire.

The vehicles burned down in a private parking area in Limassol. The damage is estimated at around €1 million. Surveillance cameras captured a man approaching the cars and pouring flammable liquid over them. The footage became a key part of the investigation.
Location of the Incident
The cars were parked near the building where the owner lives. According to Cypriot media, they belonged to a well-known foreign entrepreneur who has been living in Limassol for several years and was previously involved in football.
How the Arsonist Acted
Investigators reviewed footage showing the man walking up to the vehicles and covering them with a flammable substance. He then ignited a fire trail and left the scene quickly.
