iGaming Operators Dominate CS2 Team Sponsorships

Esports Charts published a report on title sponsorships among top Counter-Strike 2 teams based on Valve’s Regional Standings (VRS) as of February 9, 2026.

The analysis covers leading teams from Europe, North and South America, as well as Asia, and highlights the dominance of iGaming operators in the most visible advertising position on team jerseys.

North and South America

In North and South America, 9 out of 10 top teams have a title sponsor from the iGaming sector.

These brands include Stake, 1xBet, PARI, Vbet, PokerStars, Gamdom, Pusulabet, Cassino, and 9AWIN. They occupy the central jersey position, ensuring maximum visibility during matches and broadcasts.

Europe

Europe shows a more varied picture, but 12 out of 20 top teams are also sponsored by iGaming operators.

Title partners in the region include Stake, Duelbits, BetKing, PARI, FONBET, 1xBet, GGBET, Rollbit, BetBoom, Razed, BC.GAME, and Rainbet.

Teams without gambling sponsors

Only 4 out of 20 European teams have title sponsors outside the gambling category. These include Team Spirit (EXMO), Team Falcons, 3DMAX, and FUT, which partners with the telecom brand Vodafone.

Some organizations, including G2 and Astralis, do not use a title sponsor at all, leaving the most valuable advertising space on their jerseys vacant.

Asia

In Asia, the share of iGaming sponsors is lower, which is linked to the smaller number of teams that consistently compete at the international level.

At the same time, the region’s largest organizations, including The MongolZ, also work with iGaming operators, including 1xBet.

Regional restrictions and alternative approaches

According to the report, some teams use alternative approaches to comply with regional restrictions on gambling advertising.

For example, Team Vitality displays the logo of the streaming platform Kick instead of its sponsor Stake, with Kick financed by the same operator. MOUZ uses the FONTEAM brand rather than directly displaying FONBET.

Jersey changes at tournaments

In some cases, teams adjust their jerseys depending on the rules of specific tournaments. FURIA, for example, covers the PokerStars logo on its jerseys at certain events.

These practices highlight the strong presence of iGaming companies in Counter-Strike 2 title sponsorships and their key role in the discipline’s commercial model in 2026.
