CSGOfast Fined €840K in the Netherlands

In the Netherlands, the Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), the Dutch Gambling Authority, has issued a penalty order “last onder dwangsom” against skin-gambling operator CSGOfast (Gamusoft LP). The order carries a maximum financial consequence of €840,000 if the operator fails to cease providing access to Dutch players.

Reasons for the Penalty Order

The regulator determined that CSGOfast had been offering access to skin-gambling services to users in the Netherlands without a valid license. Despite Dutch regulations, players were able to join and place bets:

  • Dutch players could access the platform and participate in gambling activities

  • No IP-based geo-blocking was applied

  • The company failed to implement sufficient technical restrictions to prevent Dutch participation

Details of the KSA Decision

According to the official decision published by the KSA, the penalty order requires the company to immediately cease illegal operations in the Netherlands. If the operator continues its activities, financial penalties will be enforced at €280,000 per week of non-compliance, up to a maximum of €840,000.
