China Executes Members of Bai Clan

In China, four members of the Bai clan were executed for running fraudulent call centers and illegal casinos in the Kokang border region (Myanmar) with a turnover of over $4.2 billion.

The death sentence was carried out following a ruling by the Shenzhen Intermediate People’s Court.
The court found the defendants guilty of fraud, kidnapping, extortion, forcing individuals into prostitution, as well as drug manufacturing and trafficking.

The convicted individuals had previously filed appeals, but the Guangdong Provincial High People’s Court rejected all complaints and upheld the original verdict.

According to the court, the Bai clan established a network of fraudulent call centers and illegal casinos in the Kokang region of Myanmar, near the border with China.
These operations involved online scams and gambling activities with a total turnover exceeding 29 billion yuan, equivalent to $4.2 billion.

The investigation revealed that the network engaged in kidnapping, extortion, and forced labor, with multiple cases of violence against victims.
