Blask: top iGaming markets by growth and decline

The analytics platform Blask shared a new weekly report with the iGN editorial team on the week-over-week dynamics of iGaming markets based on the Blask Index for the period from February 9 to February 15.

iGaming markets with the strongest growth

The iGN editorial team highlights the countries that showed the highest increase in activity during the reporting period.

  • Sri Lanka+73%, a national cricket team match against Oman as part of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup on February 12.
  • India+42.5%, a cricket match between India and Pakistan at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup on February 15.
  • Singapore+30.4%, a recovery after a 24.8% decline the previous week, with no identified cause.
  • Czech Republic+18.9%, the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, four medals won by Czech athletes, and three national ice hockey team group-stage matches held between February 12 and 15.
  • Poland+16.1%, the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, a bronze medal by Kacper Tomasiak in ski jumping on February 14, and a silver medal by Vladimir Semirunny in speed skating over 10,000 meters on February 13.

iGaming markets with the steepest decline

The report also recorded markets with the most significant drop in activity.

  • Ireland−24.1%, a correction despite the second round of the Six Nations rugby tournament on February 14.
  • Turkey−21.3%, continued action by authorities against illegal gambling, with the decline recorded for the sixth consecutive week.
  • Austria−17.6%, a correction after growth the previous week, despite Austrian athletes winning 12 Olympic medals, including four golds.
  • Ethiopia−16.5%, no identified cause.
  • El Salvador−16%, no identified cause.

iGaming activity trends

According to Blask analysts, iGaming activity in India and Sri Lanka will continue to grow amid the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

The decline in activity in the Turkish market is expected to continue for a seventh consecutive week.
