Spelinspektionen banned Novatech Solutions from operating without a license

In Sweden, the regulator Spelinspektionen on March 11 banned operator Novatech Solutions N.V. (Qbet, MangaCasino, SlotExpress, 55Bet, 30Bet) from operating without a local license.

During an inspection conducted from February 23 to 25, the regulator found that the operator’s websites were accessible to players from Sweden.

Access for Swedish players

When registering from a Swedish IP address, the country code for Sweden was automatically set on the operator’s websites. This allowed users from the country to complete registration and gain access to the services.

Promotion of the operator’s websites

Swedish-language resources

According to the regulator, the operator’s websites were promoted through Swedish-language resources.

Content on video platforms

Promotion was also carried out through content creators on video platforms who published materials in Swedish.
