Yakutsk Administration Domain Turned Into Casino SEO Site

In Russia, one of the Yakutsk city administration’s domains has turned into an SEO site promoting online casinos.

As journalists from 14.RU noticed, the “yakutsk.rf” domain, which was previously used as a mirror of the official Yakutsk city hall website, now redirects to an SEO page titled “Melbet Casino”, featuring a list of online casinos under the heading “Top Online Casinos in Russia”.

The page contains promo codes and links to operators such as Arkada Casino, Joycasino, Gama Casino, IZZI Casino, Kometa Casino, R7 Casino, Kush Casino, Casino-X, 7k Casino, and Alov Casino.

The browser tab displays the Melbet favicon. At the bottom of the page, a Roskomnadzor license No. 70125 is listed, along with the company’s legal address on Tverskaya Street in Moscow.

Access Issues With the Administration Website

According to city administration representatives, the main website continues to operate, but some users report access issues. One domain does not open, while another redirects to a casino page.

The administration’s press service stated that the “yakutsk.rf” domain has not been used for a long time. Specialists began a review following inquiries from journalists and user complaints.
