UKGC lifts suspension of Spribe OÜ licence

In the United Kingdom, the regulator UKGC on March 30 lifted the suspension of the licence of provider Spribe OÜ.
Restoration of Spribe OÜ licence
The provider can once again supply games on the UK market under its previously issued licence.
Return to the market
Following the removal of restrictions, the company regained the right to resume operations and provide products to operators in the UK.
Reasons for the licence suspension
Earlier, the licence had been suspended by the regulator as part of a review under the Gambling Act 2005.
Compliance breaches
The suspension was based on serious breaches of hosting requirements within the licensing framework.
The regulator required all activity to stop immediately until an appropriate hosting licence was obtained.
UKGC regulatory requirements
Providing gambling services without a licence in Great Britain is considered a criminal offence.
Operator compliance
The UKGC requires licensees to follow the rules and notify partners of any service disruptions.
Status of Spribe products
Despite the suspension being lifted, some of the provider’s products remain unavailable.
Aviator game
The flagship crash game Aviator is still unavailable with UK operators at the time of publication.
Spribe has not commented on the situation.
