UK Exposes Network of MyStake Brands

The illegal gambling watchdog GAMRS on December 18 presented an investigation into a network of five brands unlicensed in the UK, led by MyStake (Santeda International B.V.).

According to GAMRS, the network’s combined annual turnover is estimated at around $4.4 billion.
Revenue From UK Players
Approximately 64% of the network’s revenue is generated by players from the United Kingdom.
The betting turnover of UK users on the MyStake platform over the past year is estimated at about $1.5 billion.
Total deposits across all brands in the Santeda group amounted to roughly $2.5 billion.
Lack of UKGC License
The MyStake operator does not hold a license from the UK Gambling Commission.
Operations via Affiliates
Despite this, the brands continue to target the UK market through affiliate programs.
According to GAMRS, users include players registered in the Gamstop self-exclusion scheme.
Composition of the Santeda Network
In addition to MyStake, the network includes the brands Goldenbet, Rolletto, Velobet, and Freshbet.
License and Platform
All brands operate under a Curaçao license and use a platform provided by Upgaming.
At the same time, according to the investigation, the project team is effectively based in Georgia.
Financial Links and Infrastructure
GAMRS found that the Georgian real estate development company Upco LLC received loans from entities linked to Upgaming.
Suspected Use of Gambling Revenue
The organization suggests that online gambling revenues may be used to finance construction projects in Georgia.
MyStake Management Details
The listed CEO of MyStake, Andres Marku, does not exist, according to GAMRS.
Use of AI
The organization states that the executive profile was generated using artificial intelligence.
Promotion and Evasion Methods
To promote the brands, the network works with influencers from Twitch, Instagram, and TikTok.
Fake Balances and Hosting Changes
Influencers are provided with a fake gaming balance for demonstration purposes.
The brands’ domains regularly change hosting providers to avoid monitoring by regulators.
Regulatory Response
Following the investigation, GAMRS called on UK regulators to take action against the identified network of brands.
