tradeco.kg Domain Transferred After State Company Liquidation

In Kyrgyzstan, the former domain of the state-owned trading company tradeco.kg has turned into a page redirecting users to the website of Olymp Casino (Anjouan license).
The domain was not renewed after the expiration of a one-year contract with the registrar and was transferred to another party on October 17, 2025. The identity of the new owner has not been disclosed. The company itself was liquidated on February 10, 2026.
Position of the Ministry of Economy
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic confirmed that OJSC “Trading Company of the Kyrgyz Republic” has been liquidated and bears no responsibility for the content of the tradeco.kg website.
According to the ministry, the liquidation was carried out in accordance with Order No. 1184-k of the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic and current legislation.

Registrar Agreement
The Ministry of Economy reported that on October 1, 2024, the company signed a one-year domain registration agreement with the domain registrar Asia Info.
Following the liquidation of the company and the expiration of the contract, the domain registration was not renewed.
Domain Name Transfer
On October 17, 2025, an agreement was signed with the registrar to transfer the TRADECO.KG domain name to another party. The registrar does not disclose information about the new owner due to confidentiality requirements.
The Ministry of Economy separately noted that at present the company does not own the domain, does not conduct any activity through it, and is not responsible for the information published on the resource.
Establishment and Objectives of the Trading Company
Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers
On August 23, 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic adopted Resolution No. 499-r to establish the Trading Company with 100% state ownership. The founder was the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Company Functions
The company was created to monitor trade operations in which Kyrgyz companies participated without the actual import of goods into the country.
Its functions included international trade, control of financial transactions, currency transfers, settlements with foreign counterparties, and management of currency risks.
Regulatory Restrictions and the tradeco.kg Website
National Bank Restrictions
On September 4, 2024, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic introduced one-year restrictions for financial institutions. They were prohibited from processing payments under contracts without the actual delivery of goods to the territory of Kyrgyzstan, except for authorized state-owned companies.
The restrictions did not apply to deliveries into the country or to e-commerce for personal use.
Use of the Website
In 2024, it was reported that applications could be submitted via the tradeco.kg website. In its current clarification, the Ministry of Economy stated that the company does not manage the domain and bears no responsibility for its content.
