PlayCity Fines Dynamo Kyiv Football Club

In Ukraine, the regulator PlayCity on January 26 fined Dynamo Kyiv Football Club ₴5.19 million (about $120,000) for violating gambling advertising regulations at their home stadium.

The decision was made following an inspection of compliance with the rules for gambling advertising during matches held at the club’s stadium.
The regulator noted that the club’s practices did not comply with Ukrainian legislation.

The club confirmed the imposition of the fine and acknowledged possible technical or organizational shortcomings in the placement of advertisements.
Representatives of Dynamo Kyiv also stated that they have started a dialogue with PlayCity on initiatives related to responsible gambling.
