KSA orders streamer to stop casino advertising

In the Netherlands, gambling regulator KSA ordered streamer Rouand YT 2 to immediately stop promoting unlicensed operators SkyHills, AmonBet, and HolyLuck, and to remove previously published advertising content from YouTube and Instagram.
Decision by the Dutch gambling regulator
The board of the Kansspelautoriteit determined that the streamer had promoted unlicensed gambling, in violation of the Gambling Act.
The violations were identified in posts published via the YouTube “Rouand YT 2” and Instagram “rouandyt” accounts.
Promotion of unlicensed operators
According to the regulator, the advertising involved the following unlicensed operators:
- SkyHills;
- AmonBet;
- HolyLuck.
Order to remove advertising content
KSA instructed the streamer to fully cease the promotion of unlicensed gambling and to delete all advertising materials that had already been published.
The order applies to all previously posted content across the streamer’s social media accounts.
Financial penalties for repeat violations
In the event of further violations, the regulator предусмотрел the application of financial penalties.
Fine amounts
Each violation may result in a fine of €25,000.
The total amount of fines may reach €75,000 in the case of repeated violations.
