iGaming Raids Conducted in Moldova

On December 24, Moldovan police, together with the Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Organized Crime (PCCOCS), carried out raids in the southern and central regions of the country as part of an investigation into illegal iGaming activities, reports tv8.md.

The investigative actions were carried out by officers of the Crime Investigation Department and the Criminal Prosecution Department, together with prosecutors from PCCOCS.

According to investigators, the suspects were involved in the creation and operation of illegal iGaming websites and online casinos. The exact number of individuals involved has not been disclosed.
