Sri Lanka Launches New Gambling Regulator with Online Casino Licensing

In Sri Lanka, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake signed a decree to establish the new Gambling Regulatory Authority, effective from December 1, 2025.

The Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA) will be responsible for overseeing and regulating all gambling activities across Sri Lanka. Its main functions include:
