1win Launches Health Screening Stations at Churches and Mosques in Nigeria

1win, a well-known iGaming operator, in partnership with the “Helpers” Social Development Foundation (HSDF), is launching a charitable initiative to provide free medical check-ups for residents of Nigeria. The program is aimed at the early detection of diseases such as diabetes and hypertension and will be implemented in the states of Enugu and Anambra.

Project Goal and Scope

The project is designed to improve the accessibility of healthcare services for vulnerable populations, particularly in rural areas. As part of the initiative, residents of these states will be able to undergo free medical examinations and receive consultations from doctors until December 30, 2024. Around 10,000 people aged 18 to 60 are expected to participate.

The primary focus of the program is on early detection of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. The following medical procedures will be carried out:

  • Blood sugar level testing
  • Blood pressure measurement
  • Consultations with specialists on the prevention and treatment of hypertension and diabetes

Where and When Can You Get Screened?

Screening stations will be set up at several key locations in both Enugu and Anambra states:

State Locations
Enugu Paul and Mercy Hospital, Ngevu, Udi Siding, and Ajagu-Ngwo
Anambra Umunebo, Akwuoba, and Isiokpu in the Ogunkwa community

The check-ups will be available daily from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Locals can visit any station during this period to take advantage of the free services.

Personalized Support and Consultations

Each participant will receive a personalized health card with the results of their check-up and recommendations for further health care. This will not only help identify potential health issues but also prevent their development in the future.

The Program’s Commitment to Sustainable Development

In addition to its core business in iGaming, 1win actively supports social initiatives. Its partnership with the “Helpers” Foundation demonstrates the company’s commitment to sustainable development and its desire to improve living conditions in the regions where it operates.

Not Just Screening, But Protection from Gambling Addiction

The “Helpers” Foundation believes that this partnership will not contribute to the spread of gambling addiction. On the contrary, the program is focused on improving the health and well-being of local residents, which in turn helps to reduce social problems in the region.
