1win Launches Health Screening Stations at Churches and Mosques in Nigeria

The program is aimed at the early detection of diseases such as diabetes and hypertension and will be implemented in the states of Enugu and Anambra.
Project Goal and Scope
The project is designed to improve the accessibility of healthcare services for vulnerable populations, particularly in rural areas. As part of the initiative, residents of these states will be able to undergo free medical examinations and receive consultations from doctors until December 30, 2024. Around 10,000 people aged 18 to 60 are expected to participate.
The primary focus of the program is on early detection of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. The following medical procedures will be carried out:
- Blood sugar level testing
- Blood pressure measurement
- Consultations with specialists on the prevention and treatment of hypertension and diabetes
Where and When Can You Get Screened?
Screening stations will be set up at several key locations in both Enugu and Anambra states:
