According to a report by Casino Reports, all seven states with legalized online casinos showed at least 25% year-over-year revenue growth, reaching a combined total of $868.6 million in April 2025.

In April 2025, the seven U.S. states where online casinos are allowed reported a total GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue) of $868.6 million, which is 32.5% more than in April of the previous year. That’s an increase of more than $213 million compared to 2024.

Taxable operator revenue amounted to $787.9 million, and states collected $169.3 million in tax revenue (+$43.9 million YoY). The figures do not include local taxes and tribal contributions.

States with single operators also showed notable growth:

  • Delaware: Operator BetRivers generated $9.9M in GGR, nearly doubling its result from 2024. Handle for the first four months of 2025 reached $1.01 billion.
  • Rhode Island: Bally’s earned $4.7M, more than double the $2.1M from April 2024.

All three largest states — Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey — surpassed the $200 million GGR threshold in April 2025:
