Illegal Casinos in the Netherlands Use OnlyFans Brand to Attract Youth
The Dutch Association of Responsible Affiliates (KVA) discovered an illegal advertisement on Facebook from unlicensed operator Boomerang Bet.
The creatives exploit the popularity of the OnlyFans platform to attract a younger audience. The ad claims that online gambling can generate more income than running an OnlyFans account.
The Nature of the Violation
The advertisement is in Dutch and directly targets users in the Netherlands. It promotes an illegal product — an online casino not registered with the CRUKS self-exclusion system.
According to KVA, the ad deliberately leverages the notoriety of OnlyFans, often associated with erotic content, to increase reach among young people and even minors.
Which Regulations Were Violated
Based on KVA’s monitoring, five violations of the responsible gambling rules set by the Kansspelautoriteit regulator were identified:

Specifically, the association demands stricter monitoring and swift removal of content that violates Dutch laws and regulations.
Context and Repeated Violations
This is not Boomerang Bet’s first appearance in KVA’s reports. The operator was previously involved in investigations related to bypassing CRUKS — the national self-exclusion system designed to protect users from gambling addiction.
The use of the OnlyFans brand, known for its paid erotic content, makes the advertisement particularly noticeable to a young audience, further exacerbating its legal violations.
