1xBet suspends operations and license in Kazakhstan

In Kazakhstan, bookmaker 1xBet (Realbet LLC) suspended its operations for one month starting March 27, report Offside.kz.

The company’s partners received a notice requesting the removal of advertising materials and links to the operator.

Notifications were sent to both digital platforms and offline partners.

The suspension is attributed to issues with integration into the ESU system.

The company expects to resume operations in approximately one month after resolving technical issues.

The company states that client funds remain safe in their accounts.

At the moment, withdrawals are unavailable due to technical limitations.

The operator has been active in Kazakhstan since 2016 under the legal entity Realbet LLC.

According to 2024 data, the company paid around 18.9 billion tenge in taxes.

The betting market in Kazakhstan is shared among several major brands, including Olimpbet, Winline, and PIN-UP.

The company is actively involved in sports projects, including a partnership with football club Kairat.

Other partners include Yelimay, Turan, Zhenis, futsal teams Ayat and Semey, as well as basketball club Astana.

In esports, the brand has collaborated with teams such as Avangar, OG, Talon Esports, MiBR, and Team Spirit.

Brand ambassadors have included Alexander Vinokurov, Firuza Sharipova, Angelina Lukas, and esports player Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev.

A similar situation previously occurred in Russia with bookmaker 1xStavka, which faced issues with payments and its license.
